Join Michelle Mazza, MindFit DBT Clinical Director and Licensed MFT, for a virtual case consultation group focusing on how the Dialectical Behavior Therapy model can benefit your work as a therapist or associate in private or group practice, or help increase your knowledge and employability. This 6-week workshop is intended to enhance your treatment with adolescent clients and your qualifications as a therapist, whether or not you currently work in a DBT setting.
The MindFit DBT Consultation Group is for current and future mental health professionals wanting to explore using the DBT model to support work with suicide, self-harm and challenging behaviors.
The DBT Consultation Group is for:
Licensed DBT therapists looking to broaden or enhance current skills
Licensed non-DBT therapists looking to add new skills
License-eligible associates looking to explore the DBT model as an effective mode of care and potential focus as they work toward licensing
In the DBT Consultation Group we will:
Learn and practice the structure of individual DBT sessions and discuss how these methods can be incorporated into your own sessions regardless of your previous training or mode of therapy.
Learn how DBT clinicians facilitate Skills Group meetings.
Learn about the structure and importance of the weekly DBT Consultation Team Meetings and weekly Team Trainings in a DBT practice.
Learn about associate opportunities at both MindFit DBT Center and other local DBT centers and how clinician supervision works within a DBT practice.
